Check out these fresh visuals to Brooklyn emcee, Sene’s track “Footprints”, which is off the rapper’s sophomore album Brooklynknight. In the video, Sene illustrates a blank canvas using both his remarkable storytelling abilities and the good, old fashioned pencil and paper. The concept of the vid is an ingenious presentation of creativity.
Currently signed to LA label Plug Research, Sene is an exciting prospect for hip hop. I’m learning to try and not put too many expectations on rising stars but he is one to pay close attention to over the next few month, Brooklynknight was one of those mint pieces of works that seem to somehow get lost in the blogosphere. The album boasts features from a few artists you’ll surely recognise including Soul Khan (of Brown Bag Allstars), ScienZe and Blu. If you haven’t copped it, I urge you to do so.
