KEELEY have shared a new album, Girl On The Edge Of The World. KEELEY is an alternative trio led by Irish singer-songwriter Keeley Moss, whose cinematic sound blends shoegaze textures, Britpop melody, and atmospheric indie rock. Alongside bassist Lukey Foxtrot and drummer Andrew Paresi, the band creates immersive, emotionally driven music inspired by the life of German backpacker Inga Maria Hauser, transforming themes of youth, travel, and loss into evocative soundscapes. Since emerging in 2021, KEELEY has built strong momentum through radio support, extensive touring with notable alternative acts, and a growing international audience. Their third album, Girl On The Edge Of The World, marks a new collaborative chapter, expanding their richly textured sound for a potent, cinematic listen.
“Hungry For The Prize” opens the album with atmospheric, raw guitars and driving rhythms that build a palpable sense of momentum, underscored by an eerie edge and vividly emotive vocals. “Trains and Daydreams” makes for a highlight track, containing sweeping sonics and an infectious bass-line, while pairing an expansive vocal delivery with a tone that feels both melancholic and quietly hopeful. “London Underground” stands out as a haunting centrepiece, weaving dreamlike guitars and ghostly synths around ominous, immersive melodies. The title track “Girl On The Edge Of The World” leans into ambient textures and electronic flourishes, creating a layered, powerful moment anchored by poignant vocals. “Daydreams and Trains” brings the record to a close with melancholic beauty and a surreal edge, its rich instrumentation and heartfelt vocals leaving a lasting impression.
Balancing atmosphere with momentum, Girl On The Edge Of The World captures KEELEY’s evolving artistry while reinforcing their ability to turn stirring storytelling into something resonant and transportive.
