The Guilteens shares visceral and haunting number "Born Evil"

Cork-based quartet The Guilteens shares haunting number “Born Evil” the second offering from their forthcoming debut EP Heavy Letters. A visceral, cutting anthem led by a sense of urgency, the track brims with shoegaze-tinged alt-rock sensibility.

Built on echoing guitar lines and fragile yet commanding vocals the hypnotic anthem is underscore by ghostly textures that awaken intimacy and catharsis all at once.

Speaking of the track, the band explain, ”Born Evil is one of our newer songs which originally started out on piano but then switched to guitar and came together quite quickly. We tracked it live, I think it's the second take we did that we decided to keep"

Having made a name for themselves with their dark, jagged melodies, The Guilteens evoke simultaneous feelings of nostalgia and immediacy with sharp lyricism and cinematic musicality as they continue to linger in our minds across each note.
