Sydney/Gadigal-based indie trio Valley Onda shares atmospheric number “Reebok Fantasy,” balancing touches of brooding tension with exhilarating tinges of emotion.
Rooted in frontman Jordan’s potent vocals which floats upon shimmering, acoustic guitars, the dreamy track captures an escapist feel, that leads us away from a sense of isolation.
Speaking on the song, the band share, “Do you know that feeling when you’re walking down the street feeling isolated and everyone else is looking cool in their designer clothing? So you pull into a Nepalese Restaurant and order a tea to hide out for a minute. Maybe open a paperback or meet someone interesting. That’s the vibe of Reebok Fantasy.”
