Speaking of the bold track, Jairic says, “This one was written in the south of France. Underneath the whole thing there’s this Caribbean pulse as well but the lyrics carry a different weight: don’t run up on me. It’s got that contrast I love — sunlit on the surface, with a sharp edge underneath.”
