Speaking of the track she says, “In my nine years as an artist I’ve never felt as supported as I do now, and ‘Fangirls’ is a love letter to them, the Martinis. Since they found me and started championing my music, they’ve truly kept me going, whilst they, the fangirls, carry the music industry on their shoulders. Their passion, dedication, and support make all the difference, and I’m so incredibly thankful for them – I hope they feel seen and appreciated when they listen to this track!”
The track, co-written with female writer-producer duo INK, Marie White and Emily Cox, is also Marta’s first collaborative effort, brimming with a sense of excitement and newness that adds a refreshing layer to the offering.
