Massachusetts born and raised and now Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Jordan Duffy has just shared her latest single. Called "Stay With Me", the song is the second off of her forthcoming album following the synth-pop banger "Nights Like These".
"Stay With Me" is a cute and fun new love single all about a couple flirting and dating. The twosome both are nervous but want more and ultimately find the courage to share their feelings to each other for a heartfelt confession. Lyrics including, "Baby just lay with me tonight / Let me try and show you / You have my heart / You have my soul," show this narrative. Sonicially, "Stay With Me" features soothing melodies, folk pop rhythms and Jordan's signature soulful vocals. Her delivery is equally powerful as it is vulnerable, showing what a miraculous singer she truly is. An intoxicating guitar solo over lush backdrops complete the musical masterpiece.
Jordan Duffy is not only a four octave singer but she is also an engineer, landing herself as a dominant force in the growing podcast space. She has performed alongside The Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dickie Betts as well as has sung for Weird Al Yankovic.
