Rising South London artist Lewis Fitzgerald caught our undivided attention with his latest jam "Tell Your Ex (Woi Oi)" which sees him collaborating with six-piece east London Afro-fusion collective NSG. Bolstered by a laidback groove, sparking textures and a plucky guitar backline, Lewis and NSG deliver a cheeky Afrobeats/R&B infused jam that explores side pieces and entanglements. Lewis leads the charge with his characteristic mellow melodic flow followed by NSG's stylish catchy hooks and infusion of Dancehall and UK rap twang inflections.
The accompanying music video is directed by Jack Stangaard at Stormzy's new Soho Club 'Houseparty' and features high-energy performances from NSG and Lewis.
Lewis Fitzgerald recently worked with fellow UK act Russ Millions on his new album but came into prominence with his duet with Afro-R&B sensation Libianca on 'Darling.
