Singer-songwriter, guitarist and artistic goddess Elthia has returned with an enveloping and magical music video. The cinematic and creative visual is the perfect backdrop for her escapist pop single "medusa". The track follows her release of 2022's single "wildfire".

"medusa" tells the story of a woman who is asking the listener to engage in a role-play fantasy. The woman portrays herself as the mythical creature, one who throughout history has been proclaimed to be powerful and irresistible as well as dangerous. Lyrics including, "As she makes her way towards you / Found her somebody to pursue / Waiting patiently for your cue / It's predator and prey / They call me Medusa /
When their bodies turn to stone," show this narrative. Musically, "medusa" features a unique seductive bassline and layered lush vocals. Intoxicating rhythms and candy-coated synths complete this unique and otherworldly musical offering. The song is shared alongside a storied music video. Elthia is seen as a mythical half-woman and half-snake creature wearing a unique costume she designed herself. The video acts as a short film and a mini thriller/ fun-loving horror film that is the perfect accompaniment to the indie pop banger.

Elthia first shared music in 2020 with her debut single "i love you but you make me cry", a song about an onion that quickly went viral. Since then the creator has embraced her fantastical influences, sharing music that is mystical and delightful. Check out "medusa" now and get lost in her creative world.
