Suffolk-based indie-folk artist Leon O’Leary steps into the spotlight with his debut EP, Pretend (To Be Saviours). Known for his emotive songwriting and inventive indie-folk style, O’Leary has earned acclaim across the UK, performing at festivals like Latitude and Wild Paths.

Influenced by Ben Howard, Bruce Springsteen, The War On Drugs, and Hozier, O’Leary’s music blends folk storytelling with indie-rock flair, showcased prominently in the EP’s lead single, "Pretend (To Be Saviours)". This track, born from collaborative efforts with friend Tom Dixon, delves into themes of societal pretense and hollow virtue.

Beyond its lead, the EP features a diverse range of tracks that highlight O’Leary’s musical versatility, spanning bluesy Americana to anthemic rock. Each song reflects O’Leary’s journey and influences, crafted with a blend of introspection and infectious melodies. As O’Leary shares his debut work, listeners are invited to experience his genre-defying sound and heartfelt lyricism, promising an engaging musical narrative.
