With over 20 decades of music-making behind them, the duo of underground hip-hop veterans, Dillon and Batsauce continue to cook with their proven formula of dope beats and dope rhymes. Their latest release "Cannonball" is an upbeat, block-party type jam that is anchored on the essence of hip-hop with edgy drum breaks, jazzy samples, refreshing rhymes, and expert turntablism. With Batsauce behind the boards, we only expect pure flames while Dillon steps up to bat with his no-holds-barred lyricism and commanding flow. Joining them is the legendary Grand Puba (of Brand Nubian fame) and together they gift fans with groovy jam to rock with.
"Cannonball" is lifted from the duo's forthcoming new project, What Have We Done, which is out July 12 via Full Plate. In addition to hitting DSPs, the album will be available on vinyl, CD, and cassette, with various merch available including T-shirts and collectible keychains.
