Prolific East London rapper and producer Parallax returns with a brand new single "Soul Aint For Sale" that showcases his versatility. He shows that he is not one to conform or be boxed in and he goes forth with a thumping drill backdrop as his canvas but the subject matter is a far cry from glorifying the streets but rather a somewhat cautionary tale of not losing one's integrity for material gains while questioning the true meaning of life. Parallax sounds motivated and seamlessly flows over the hard-hitting backdrop with much gusto and passion. Lines like "This life is trippy and strange/ What's really our fate? I like we're losing control but I got the cheat code on the video game" sees him searching for purpose and he quickly reminds us that he has been through the wringer and he knows his way around the proverbial labyrinth. The visual style harks back to the past with fast-cut scenes and smooth-visual effects that give it an urgent and energetic aesthetic.
