NY-based experimental producer Radicule is up and ready for 2023 as he drops the lead single titled "OSBORN WAVECAP" which sees him teaming up with emerging rapper S!LENCE. The result is a soulful gem made up of choppy vocal samples, and lush keys with offbeat drum grooves which are underpinned by the rapper's laidback and unassuming performance. S!LENCE sure finds comfort over these brilliantly crafted beats to showcase his distinct pen game ripe with pop references, street bravado and the playfulness of a stoner reflecting on life. He displays some aggressiveness to the ops but lines like "bow my head, had to tell the lord, Thank You/ survived another fatal snafu" see him counting his blessings.
"OSBORN WAVECAP" is taken from Radicule's new 5-track EP titled S-RANK SLAPS II. The body of work draws from several influences ranging from 90s anime, cartoons, and films that predate the young producer. He packs so much nostalgia into this project that it's hard to ignore and one can just dive in and bask in the euphoria of the past.
