Carving his way onto the scene as a groundbreaking progressive house producer is Boy North, who has shared a new single titled “Was It The Wind That Stirred The Trees (Part 2)”. Boy North began his music career early on, when he got his hands on a pair of decks. It was after hearing Lane 8’s "Hot As You Want" in 2016 that sparked his love for melodic house.

“Was It The Wind That Stirred The Trees (Part 2)” contains a genre-defying, expansive energy and euphoric melodic house sound that represents Boy North as a groundbreaking producer. Forging his own style and stance on the electronica scene he writes, “I honestly still cannot believe how amazing “Was it the wind that stirred the trees” has done and is still doing, Im continuously getting so much love worldwide on this track and had some such lovely comments and messages, Hitting over 1 million streams still hasn't sunk in,  And for that it was only right to complete the story with a follow up record, Again this one is a heartfelt melodic journey, And I really hope it does the first justice”.

The new single, released via Another Rhythm, is the counterpart to the first version- demonstrating a response to the message in the first part. Throughout part 1, a voicemail message is heard showing someone’s lust for one another. In part 2 you can hear the other person's response to this message. "I wrote this part as a response to the voicemail in Part 1 of the track, pinpointing the words in the female voicemail and countering/addressing what she's saying, whilst also developing the story of what happened between these lovers slightly, explaining their need to cope in each others space whilst still missing each other."

"Was It The Wind That Stirred The Trees" blends elements of breakbeat, trance and melodic house for a versatile offering, and further shows Boy North is an artist to keep an eye out for.

“Was It The Wind That Stirred The Trees (Part 2)" is out now on all streaming platforms.
