Since her viral chill pop collaboration with Rando of “Passionfruit” by Drake, gave her a boost, emerging singer/songwriter ellie d. delivers her new single "Is It Even Real?" in style. The somber piano-laden ballad sees her detailing a toxic relationship where the turmoils are way beyond the sweet moments and the perpetrator never attempts to change his ways. The singer is as candid as they come as she delivers an unfiltered and raw account of her experiences, from being gaslighted to emotional blackmail amongst other things that made her reconsider ever getting into the relationship in the first place.
"Is It Even Real?" is the last single from her upcoming debut EP.
The singer reveals that she has over 1000 voice memos on her phone and she is always recording her thoughts once the inspiration hits. She is currently working on more music, and she also reveals that it will be a blend of chill, reflective tunes with a West Coast feel.
