Vietnamese-American R&B singer and songwriter, thuy, has delivered some holiday magic late in the year. This cozy release is a single that quickly follows up her late October debut EP, i hope you see this. Though the single's sound is steady and slow, her coming in with a hot new holiday single means she's showing no signs of slowing her pace down.

With the help of musicians Heaun You and High Tone, the Bay-Area native's soft crooning ballad makes for your Christmas and cuddle playlist. If you have some hot chocolate nearby, a fireplace, and a special someone to snuggle up next to. "Snowing in LA" is a no-brainer.

On her Instagram, about the video thuy said "the next day i recorded the song but that didn’t stop there. no, my extra ass called upon @directedbybrandon & @dianeehoang talkin bout how I wanted to film a video to this. they drove out to LA and really made it happen."

In the music video, she, High Tone, and Heaun You perform the number on a festive yet simple video set. Bubbles float and "snow" gently falls as they perform the record. The feel of the visual is minimalistic and dreamy. This gives a strong feeling of that fuzzier, warmer version of the holidays we all pray to have.

“i wanted this video to be an acoustic holiday gift from thuy & friends to all of those who have supported me this entire year. wherever u are in the world, whether it’s snowing or not, we hope this brings u some holiday joy and gets u in the spirit! xoxo,” thuy writes via Youtube.

With the EP, i hope you see this garnering attention and this holiday jam sounding this special, all ears are ten-hut for what the pop R&B songstress creates in the future.
