The masked UK rapper J-Onyx first caught our attention with her debut release "Can’t F With" some months ago and now she returns with a heavy banger titled "Chop The Bummies." Bolstered by producer Ty Metronome's vibrant and bass-heavy production, J-Onyx proceeds to remind us that she is here to stay and has no time for negative Nancy's and naysayers. Like her previous release, she lets the music speak for itself as she blends a mix of bravado with a carefree demeanor to boot. Always on brand, the visuals capture J-Onyx's spirited performance style and most importantly her anonymity. The director makes use of the 90s summer aesthetic and set pieces to augment the energetic track and reinforce J-Onyx's mantra of being free from societal constraints and staying true to herself.
