With tender acoustic guitars, handclaps and lead singer Henry MacLean's sweeping falsetto and impressive vocal range, the duo craft a gem that would hold up in any great movie soundtrack from 500 Days of Summer to Juno. We caught up with Henry and bandmate Dylan Grossman to hear more about what inspired the track:
"Awaiting Grace is a song is about plain loneliness. It's about feeling an absence and reflecting on how time apart from someone alters one's view of the past. It gave me a distinctly sad yet hopeful feeling."
