Blending futuristic sounds and retro neo-soul elements, the singer builds an emotionally gripping backdrop that will have your head nodding from start to finish. Besides crafting the soundscape, he provides an equally enthralling vocal performance that is heavily influenced by the likes of Jon Bellion. Make no mistake, though, he definitely has his own unique twang on this one.
"Our Love" was written, produced, and recorded over the course of 2 weeks in Verona, and is taken from David's self-produced mixtape titled Valley View. Always aiming to push himself, the artist set a 2-week time limit to write, produce, record, and mix as many tracks as he could – resulting in the creation of the 6-track mixtape.
