Earlier in 2016, DJ Target revealed on his BBC Radio 1 show that Manchester-based LiTek partnered with fellow UK producer Tom Zanetti on ideal contemporary g-house track. And let's face it, "Uber" is a modern day banger – there's no other way to frame it. It's infectious, uniquely UK, and another track whose contagious energy can be explained by an amazing ability to mold disco, house and hip hop into a delectable listen framed by techy synths and energy.
Today, we have a first look at the "Uber" music video. Coming nearly three weeks after the single's release via Get Twisted Records, the team behind the track linked up with animator Oli Putland, a name you might remember being behind the memorable visuals from Radiohead's 2016 track "Burn the Witch." They also enlisted the fellow DJ-approved director Johny Mourgue. The best part about this video? It's in claymation. Well done claymation. Emulating the happy-g0-lucky cheekiness of the track's audio vibe, the video depicts LiTek, Zanetti, and the man behind the vocals, Curtis Clacey, taking on the club and encountering any clubber's worst nightmare. Check out the video here first, and you can still download "Uber" or stream it indefinitely until Friday hits.
