When Stephen's "Crossfire" first came out, I knew I had stumbled upon a track that was very, very special. It's got this badass electronic base while also containing big-sounding lyrics. The track opens with sobbing, and in its entirety, the track gives me extreme chills while sounding triumphant.

When Sean Turk dropped his remix of "Crossfire" earlier this week, my ears got powerfully doused in straight fire and lightning. That's what it sounded like, at least.
Turk retains all the important elements of the original "Crossfire" while giving listeners some heavier electronic material to mull over. Deep metallic base notes overlap on top of Stephen's voice, while the drop is a spectacular affair consisting of deep punching kicks, and a razor-like melody that will remind you of thunder and bright flashes. Listening to this remix is incredibly satisfying as it successfully balances the haunting nature of the original "Crossfire" with elements that elevate it to a different sphere of music.
