The city of Manchester holds one of the fastest growing festivals in England that attracts musical fanatics and electronic enthusiasts. In the last 5 years Parklife festival has grown significantly and now takes place at Heaton Park on June 11 & 12th. Over the weekend, 50,000 people will come out each date to dance, play, sing, and groove to good music. 2016 sees an impressive list of headliners, such as The Chemical Brothers, Maceo Plex, Busta Rhymes, Chase & Status, Bastille, Four Tet b2b Floating Points,  and other amazing artists.

There are 8 different stages that cater to different musical interests over both days. For instance, the Now Wave stage will see headliner and Canadian producer Kaytranada, Norwegian hero Todd Terje, American rapper Goldlink, and English acts like Snakehips, Shura, Maribou State. The culturally diverse list of international artists playing at each stage makes Parklife a unique event in its own right.

Manchester Warehouse Project is a proud sponsor of the festival, so it's no surprise they curated a stage of their own. "The Temple" holds an outstanding group of house artists, ranging from headliners Seth Troxer b2b with The Martinez Brothers, German mastermind Soloumun, Hot Since 82 alongside Heidi, and many others on the first day alone.

The mainstage on day two boasts a diverse list of artists from all spectrum of sounds. Major Lazer brings the Trinidad heat from Jillionarie with Diplo behind decks. Skepta will churn out his signature style of Grime, while Annie Mac will offer a special selection of international hits in a professional mix. Jess Glynne plays earlier in the day to welcome any attendees with her passionate lyrics. Both days are not to miss, as there is bound to be someone for your musical interest!

General passes for both days are avaliable at 95£ or 55£ for either day avaliable from their website. Parklife is not a camping festival so make sure you plan transportation there and back on both days. The music officially ends at 11pm, yet Parklife offers shuttle buses to bring back to the city centre after 6pm tell late.
