Good thing San Diego's favorite new festival comes around bi-annually, as I can already sense some anxiety amongst its dedicated patrons. This time the guys at CRSSD have really outdone themselves, hosting a wild dinner party of a festival with acts such as Chet Faker, Gesaffelstein, Odesza, and even Claude VonStroke.

Returning to San Diego’s Waterfront Park on March 5 and 6, for its third installment, the festival continues to champion cutting edge live and DJ talent from across the spectrum of electronic music. I was amazed at the quality of the sound and atmosphere last time around, and I can only imagine they have aspirations to step it up once again. CRSSD has already cemented its reputation with a forward-thinking underground focused booking policy. They say "[We have] turned heads and won hearts and minds by providing a platform for the edgier and more adventurous live acts and DJs within electronic music to shine." There's no better description of what you're going to get.

If you're in San Diego in early March, don't miss out. Buy a day ticket, buy a weekend pass, whatever you do don't slack on this lineup, as we KNOW this is only round 1 of their release. The sunset is incredible, the food is addicting, and the music is like no other festival. 2016, here we come.
