Led by composer/songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone, Brooklyn-based San Fermin continue to serve up their signature style of introspective chamber pop on their new single "No Devil." Allen Tate's deep baritone vocals lead the track while the rest of the band creates a hectic and moody yet melodic composition behind him as he sings, "I'm having trouble, I'm not well, I got lost along the way" before admitting, "the devil dragged me straight to hell." Charlene Kaye's angelic vocals back Tate up when he is most emphatic, lightening up the chorus and perhaps providing an alternative to the devil Tate sings of.
After wrapping up a world tour opening for alt-J, the band is getting back on the road with a headlining tour late this year. Head to Brooklyn Vegan for full tour details and check out San Fermin's new song below.
