London based soul rock artist Jody Brock is a fierce rising force to be reckoned with and will stop at nothing to propagate his incendiary sound to the masses. His voice has the dynamic breadth of heavy soul singer Donny Hathaway mixed with an unstoppable driving rock sound with notes of Gary Clark Jr. and an unfiltered Black Keys. Jody is gearing up to release his debut 4-track EP Phoenix on March 23rd. He worked with Grammy award winning producer Igloo who has worked with Ludacris, and co-wrote with hit single “Jar Of Hearts” writer Drew Lawrence. Today we have the privilege of debuting the first single off the EP “User,” which is a gritty unapologetic rock heavy soul song. Slow swing melodies are accompanied by his brooding voice oozing with conviction and desperation to leave the toxic relationship he finds himself crawling back to. Wailing guitar riffs underscore the driving single truly driving home the dance with the demons we all face when pained with making the tough choice in a sour relationship.
