There's nothing better than the smooth tinkling of a piano, especially when it's played by Alfa Mist. A seriously talented pianist, producer and rapper, his jazzy remix of "ilvu" is comparable to Robert Glasper and EARMILK have the absolute pleasure of premiering it today.
After releasing an impressive collaborative EP with fellow Brit Emmavie at the beginning of the year, Alfa Mist has been quietly producing for the likes of Franklyn Music and Ruby Wood of Submotion Orchestra. He joined forces with UK prodigy Tom Misch on "Going Down" in March and also produced and rapped on Barney Artist's recent EP Bespoke.
We can look forward to a solo EP from Alfa next year, but for now, kick your shoes off and turn it up for his remix of Barney Artist's "ilvu":
