While providing an acoustic take on their original song "Teenage Heart", Team Spirit do not stray from their grungy, energetic sound that makes them stand apart. Based out of Brooklyn, Team Spirit is fronted by the former synth, sample & percussion player of Passion Pit, Ayad Al Adhamy who displays his grittier edge with the newer act. Having released an EP under Vice Music last year, "Teenage Heart" is the first preview of new material since, offering a more accessible edge to the garage band style they are continually exploring.
In mellowing out the heavy set tones from the original, Team Spirit have released an acoustic version of "Teenage Heart". Harmonizing with the guitars throughout the entire song, Adhamy's grungy vocals lead the anthem through the trenches and into a great vantage point in lieu of the an upcoming album release.

It is impossible to single out a specific trait that makes Team Spirit unique, which their bizarre antics in the video for "Teenage Heart" clearly shows.
