Coming straight in at pole position on Billboard's Uncharted and knocking reigning champion Kygo off his streak at the top is New Jersey based producer DJ Sliink with his take on Trey Songz' "Na Na". Sitting alongside remixes from the likes of Stwo, Miller Guth, Cesqeaux, and Cederic Zeyenne is this genre bending production taking you through Jersey club, breaks and electronica within the first minute of the track. Crisp triplet hi hats and unbelievably deep kicks clearly mark this track for a club sound system and with such an intriguing structure it could really find a comfortable home in any set. The icing on the cake is the delicately cut and twisted vocal samples that are almost used as a percussive instrument at times. This is a clever, well thought out remix and not just another pop track with four to the floor kicks nailing it to the wall.
The remix hits Beatport on 5/19, but in the meantime enjoy the stream below.
