Beautiful vocals, rinsed hihats, and electric organ stabs fill All About She's latest album, Go Slow EP. Heavily influenced by garage and deep house, the British trio broke through the musical market with the massive success of their 2013 hit "Higher" after reaching #5 in the UK Dance Charts and #20 in the US. James Tadgell and John Clare met Vanya Taylor in London as hired hands for her solo act's production work. Together, they realized that the dream of fame was so close within reach. Rightfully so, they teamed up and created some of this decade's best deep garage music since Disclosure.
We had planned on just mentioning the final track of the album, "C'est Moi", a classic UK garage tune backed by a swirling Wurlitzer and enough rinsed top end percussion to clean an elephant. After a second and third listen, we realized just how good of a production the entire album really is. With a hearty five tracks, Go Slow hits every aspect of deep dance music. From club-ready (see "All Night") to the uplifting rolling bassline of "Like That", which features "Higher" vocalist Gita. Bottom line is we will never get tired of smooth jams, and All About She are the latest ones to capitalize on that.
