6J Recordings have been on a rampage recently, with three of their artists; Johnny Rain, Lashaun Ellis and Art Boy Sin, each releasing solid solo projects within the past few months. With SXSW well underway in Austin, the West Coast native has dropped a new track on us, with his latest banger "How Do You".
The young LA dweller teams up with in-house Khompono, who has created a bumpin' instrumental that features a really smooth piano sample, almost harking back to 90's hip hop. Lyrically Lashaun comes through with the question 'how do you?' in regards to a host of subjects including school and money.
If you're lucky enough to be out and about at SXSW this week, you can catch Lashaun at the OG Mattress 'The Sleepover' party alongside artists such as Austin Millz and G-Side.
