On April 25th, The 2nd annual CounterPoint Music Festival returns to the Atlanta area. However, with its return, the festival now host a number of differences from its first incarnation. While the first festival took place during the fall of 2012, it seems the organizers (C3 and MPC) decided it best to move the event to the spring time, likely to avoid competing with the now established TomorrowWorld festival (which is now set to return to the Chattahoochee Hills, GA for the next six years). The festival also relocates to Kingston Downs, GA, which is a little further from Atlanta than Chattahoochee Hills, GA (where the festival was held in 2012).

While there are numerous changes, fortunately the quality of performances hasn't changed a bit. Just like the previous festival, CounterPoint will see many incredible artists take the stage, and perhaps none bigger than the recently reunited Outkast (who will likely be jetting straight from Coachella). The festival will play host to numerous other big acts, such as Foster the People, Major Lazer, STS9, and many more. Honestly, the diversity in music is pretty impressive. Check it out below.
The first CounterPoint was an awesome event, and this one is shaping up to be equally (if not more) incredible. Ticket prices are still pretty cheap ($180 for 3-day GA passes), so don't be afraid to grab one now before prices go up.
