Potholes Music's roster is stacked with young, creative, and talented artists making innovative music and remixes. You can now add Chris Brassard to their already impressive lineup. Brassard has an interesting style of music making. By combining diced up samples with thumping, bass heavy drums, he creates a sound with major bounce.
The first single, “Gossip Pokes"off Brassard's upcoming project, has club banger written all over it. CB breaks out the 808 drums and creates a beat that is so infectious, other producers might catch a cold. Brassard’s minimalist approach makes the beat very tangible to the listener, like there is a party going on and everyone is invited. The chorus sample repeats “I got the boys talking,” and after listening to this I believe people will be talking.
