I'm not sure if you'll all agree with me, but in the past few years, it seems a growing number of artists have begun to tackle a larger range of genres. In the past, following a same pattern for every release and evolving your music (not too much) album after album was a good thing when you wanted to keep your fan base. Many artists didn't think that way, but in most cases they were less likely to succeed. But the way people discover and listen to music has changed. Because keeping track of an artist's work has become as simple as hitting a "Like" or a "Follow" button, we no longer need to be a "fan" of everything they do and remember we want to know when their next production will be released. We'll be reminded anyway. Is it a good thing? In my opinion, yes. This gives the artist the liberty to produce exactly what they want to.
Whether they have understood that or they wouldn't be producing music if they hadn't this liberty anyway, many artists are now creating for the only goal that is having fun doing it. Among those artists stands Le Motel. Experimenting and mixing all sorts of genres together, he always manages to produce something different from his previous work. Today, I'm introducing you to a new track he made with techno/garage producer Curtis is Back. Both true to their talent, they have created a masterpiece that will take you on a 6-minute trip in constantly evolving percussion. Sit back and enjoy.

If you want to get a better grasp of Le Motel's music, I strongly recommend you go on a tour of his Soundcloud page, and listen to his previous productions. You'll find a large amount of distinct sounds, and if you listen carefully to every track he made, I highly doubt you'll find none amazing. As a bonus for the laziest of you who won't click the link below, here's "I Wonder", a track he released two weeks ago. Needless to say, it sounds completely different from "Araceae".
