His latest single, "damnaged goods," is a blend of shoegaze and dream rock that manages to break the mold of what music can be with enough care.
The wall of sound within "damnaged goods" is strong and allows for the vocals to take a more hushed approach. The Michigan-based artist continues his musical career with enough stock in the indie rock genre to generate buzz this year. At times, Vane's music is heavy and dark in the way it's arranged, but the overall style of his music leans more like a cinematic wasteland of discarded thoughts.
"Damnaged goods" speaks on the theme of confronting the truth of something you might not be ready for.
