Drawn from a personal experience yet resonant in its message, the track reflects the genre-bending tender R&B musicality that Groves has been shaping in private for over a decade. Embers is about remembering the things that once sparked love and excitement and to feel gratitude for the embers of clarity that they left behind. It’s my first I want people to define my sound as intimate vocally and honest emotionally.”
