Artist and producer Luc Bradford, known popularly as ford., steps into 2026 with a new sense of creative fusion. For the better part of the last 5 years, Bradford has crafted a unique space within the electronic space. Having earned a GRAMMY nomination for his 2020 remix of "Swim," ford. has never let the accolades define him.
Back in 2023, he released his last album, Guilding Hand. The next few years would remain dormant for Bradford. Now in 2026, ford. returns to his roots with indie electronic soundscapes that make him one of the best. Under his own record label, ecke, ford. releases his comeback EP, Music Lights Color.
The 6-track EP eclipses his past work in terms of mastery of his craft. Over the course of years of carefully practiced experimentation, ford. manages to capture everyday life into synths and hums. Breaking down elements of his production requires a sense of the intellectual property at hand. He takes the world as it is and injects life into it that seeps through the stereos.
ford. leans on his music and continues to trust in himself as he creates his record label, ecke. The label allows ford. to branch out on his own terms and continue to practice elements of electronic music yet undiscovered. At such a young age, ford. continues to push his sound to new heights and never settles into a sound that mutes his craft.
With a new label and EP, ford. is set to go on the road for a headlining tour this spring. The 10-city stop will see ford. connecting with fans in a new way with fresh sounds. 2026 is shaping up to be a huge return to form for ford. as the creative rebirth hopes to bring a joyful future.
