Salt Lake City alt rock meets indie pop band The Moss return with their irresistible new single “Your Way,” a vibrant preview of their upcoming full-length album Big Blue Moon, arriving April 24. The band is hitting the road this spring with a national headline tour, culminating in a major appearance at Kilby Block Party alongside Lorde, The xx, and Modest Mouse.
With "Your Way", The Moss create a song that reminds us all to tune out outside noise and make our own decisions and live life the way we want to. Lyrics including, "Cause there ain't no way I'm gonna get stuck in your way / Ain't no way I'm gonna live my life your way / My business, take what I can give you / If you know what's good, stay away," reinforce this defiant, self-assured narrative.
"Your Way" blends sun-soaked surf rock textures with an indie edge, for a gripping listen. The shimmering guitar work adds a distinctive flair, while the infectious melodies linger long after the final note fades. Tyke James' vocals are urgent, passionate yet warm driving the song's message home.
"Your Way" is a confident anthem that not only showcases the band’s evolving sound but also sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting new chapter on Big Blue Moon.
