Singer-songwriter MUANH is back with a new, fresh sound and a promise of new music on the horizon. Since her last single, "Secrets," was released back in October 2025, the singer has kept a low profile. This Friday, MUANH releases "u wanna have it." The single marks her return since last year and a bold take in her career. "U wanna have it" is a R&B, soft pop blend that makes it perfect for a late-night session.
At its core, "u wanna have it" is an emotional-come-down track. Drawing on past relationships, MUANH creates a narrative that echoes throughout the track. It's buried within the vocals, a soft spoken message of confronting yourself and what communication looks like.
While it never reaches the upper levels of what many call radio pop, MUANH does a fantastic job of demonstrating the skill set required to reach it. Instead, MUANH opts for a soft pop ballad that completely reworks the bedroom/DIY genre. The lyrics and vocals harmonize while staying sharp and in focus with the meaning of the single. With the first single of the year released, it seems that MUANH is back with a new project this year.
