Rock band King-Mob releases one of their best projects to date. This Friday, the band drops their new single, "Pendulum Days," alongside their third EP, Arabesque. The bass boosted single brings forth the best of the band as a fusion of searching guitar and a dreamy sense make for an impactful sound. What falls out of their studio session remains something supernatural. Leaning on their musical influences of alt hip hop, blues, and rock, King-Mob keeps pace with a fine tip point.
"Pendulum Days" is a standout track from the rest of the EP. Unlike previous singles, King-Mob takes a more direct approach. Over the years, their sound has become more refined. Coherent sound and poetic production carry the single. From breaking down to the spare parts and reshifting their purpose, "Pendulum Days" excels in the space it's presented. That same standard carries throughout the whole EP.
From open to close, Arabesque doesn't fail to enclispe the listener into a disjointed noise rock soundscape. The EP captures the boldness of King-Mob while introducing new flows into the fold. Electronic sounds and fast-paced lyrics with a hyper rock glow grow into the months of planning for this EP. There's no telling just how far King-Mob has come in recent years, but the results speak for themselves.
