Boomtown has revealed a heavyweight second wave for its 2026 edition, Chapter 5: Radical Redesign, adding over 50 new names as the festival’s most ambitious chapter to date continues to unfold. Newly announced artists include Kae Tempest, Folamour, Rose Gray, DJ EZ, Lynks, Peaches, SBTRKT (DJ set), Hak Baker and Gurriers, further cementing Boomtown’s reputation for genre-blurring programming and forward-thinking curation. The announcement builds on an already formidable first wave featuring Skrillex, Four Tet, Faithless, Madness, Kneecap, Scissor Sisters, Scooter, Shaggy, Ashnikko, and Eve.

Dance music sits firmly at the heart of this latest reveal, with UK garage icon DJ EZ, groove-driven selector Folamour, and a rare DJ set from SBTRKT leading the announcement. Drum & bass takes centre stage with heavyweight names including A.M.C ft. Phantom, Alix Perez, S.P.Y, Ivy Lab, Lens, and Kasra B2B Samurai Breaks, reinforcing Boomtown’s long-standing relationship with bass culture in all its forms. Elsewhere, the line-up leans into Boomtown’s love of left-field energy and underground culture, spanning bass, rave and club mutations alongside politically charged and performance-led artists like Kae Tempest, Peaches and Hak Baker. Rising voices, including Rose Gray and Gurriers, add a sharp contemporary edge, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to both discovery and legacy in equal measure.

The festival’s electronic edge continues, with the return of boundary-pushing techno artist VTSS and Azyr sitting alongside the groove-led warmth of Folamour. Next level energy in all its forms arrives via Ross From Friends B2B Effy, Rossi. B2B Silva Bumpa, Eats Everything B2B TSHA and Trampsta, while bassline, breaks and rave offerings are delivered by Zero, Bakey B2B Mia Koden, Hamdi B2B Mala, Yung Singh B2B Ryota, Ahadadream and Arthi. Together, the new additions reflect Boomtown’s reputation for unpredictable, high-impact dance floors that unite scenes and subcultures, not to mention some huge and unmissable back-to-backs.

Alongside the artist additions, Boomtown has also unveiled a series of major takeovers set to shape the festival’s sonic landscape. Highlights include 20 Years of Rupture, celebrating jungle history, Fantazia Into The Woods reviving the spirit of ’90s UK rave, David Rodigan pres. Ram Jam featuring D Double E, Irah and Hollie Cook, and High Focus Allstars bringing heavyweight hip hop representation. These curated moments underline Boomtown’s long-standing dedication to sound system culture, community-led programming and deep musical heritage.

Running through every element of the 2026 experience is Boomtown’s overarching theme, Chapter 5: Radical Redesign, that will explore a reconnection to music, community and nature. Speaking on the concept, Creative Director Mair Morel described it as “an invitation to rethink how we live, connect and create,” rooted in reconnection, community and collective joy. Across a radically reimagined and highly anticipated new site, immersive theatric,s and expanding districts, Boomtown aims to explore how balance can be restored between people, nature and shared purpose. Taking place at Matterley Estate, Hampshire, from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th August 2026, Boomtown 2026 is already over 90% sold out, with remaining tickets available now via www.boomtownfair.co.uk
