LA-based vocalist, producer, and visual artist Maiah Manser has released her new single, “Feeling it All.”
Dark, throbbing, and high-octane –“Feeling it All” is Maiah Manser’s answer to the liberation and euphoria of desire, inspired by her nights partying at underground gay clubs.
“Feeling It All” captures the sense of being free and feeling safe to do so, and is a very particular piece of “sexy dreamcore,” according to the artist herself.
On writing the song, Maiah Manser said:
“I really wanted to make the most high-energy dance song I’ve ever made. This song is a play on words to feel like you’re being hypnotised by a mermaid in the middle of the ocean, or losing yourself on the dance floor with someone special. I was inspired by my time spent at LGBTQ underground nightclubs, where everyone is expressing their love openly, which felt like the safest space I’ve ever been. I remember dancing with my girlfriend and looking around and feeling free, because I could finally allow myself to ‘feel it all’.”
The track is definitely a dark club banger – with its steady, pulsing beat, Manser’s ethereal vocals, and her lyrical repetition of “take me like I’m a drug/now I’m feeling it all” – all creating a hypnotic and entrancing vibe.
It’s dark, shadowed, and entirely wholesome all at once – truly the freedom that comes with “feeling it all.”
