AR/CO team up with Latin GRAMMY-Nominated Sistek for "Sound of the Sunrise"

Electronic music duo AR/CO has released "Sound of the Sunrise" featuring Latin Grammy-nominated Chilean producer Sistek, out now via Helix Records. The collaboration pairs the British-Australian vocal powerhouse with Sistek's blend of Latin and Afro-house influences, marking another evolution in AR/CO's trajectory from featured vocalists to established dance music artists.

The release arrives as UK-based Mali-Koa and Leo Stannard continue their transition from being the voices everyone knows to becoming the DJs everyone needs to watch. AR/CO have built their reputation through collaborations with some of dance music's biggest names, including "Ocean" with Fisher, "The Feeling" with Rudimental and PNAU, and contributions to the Grammy-nominated Kx5 album. Their extensive collaborative history spans Tiesto, Alan Walker, Marshmello, Hayden James, Sub Focus, and Gryffin, with their catalog reaching 280+ million streams overall.

"'Sound of the Sunrise' is a celebration of light, rhythm, and resilience, our soulful Afro-world anthem we created with our friend Sistek to honor the end of summer and the energy that lingers long after the sun sets," shares AR/CO.

Sistek brings significant credentials to the collaboration, having earned support from Tiesto, BLOND:ISH, CamelPhat, Adriatique, Oliver Heldens, ARTBAT, and Vintage Culture. The Chilean producer has released official remixes for Karol G and Myke Towers, amassing over 1 million followers while performing at Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Creamfields. His presence represents the growing influence of Latin electronic music on the global stage.

AR/CO's sound exists at the intersection of indie electronic and mainstream dance music, informed by their Maori and Trinidadian heritage combined with their British-Australian background. They've joined Sub Focus during his BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend headline set to perform their Radio 1 Hottest Record "Vibration (One More Time)" and supported Kygo at Gunnersbury Park alongside The Chainsmokers at The Cause.

With more new music on the horizon for 2025 and a growing list of high-profile collaborations still to be announced, AR/CO are positioning themselves not as overnight successes but as established talents finally receiving proper recognition.

"Sound of the Sunrise" is available now via Helix Records.
