Boise based mixed-media performance-artist and electronic music mastermind Street Fever has just shared a new single. Called "Burn", the single is issued under Breathing Records as part of the Inhale Vol. I compilation out digitally November 14th.
With "Burn", Street Fever shares a driving hard techno single which was influenced by their performances at downtown warehouse parties in Los Angeles. Street Fever shares, "Burn is speed, rushing blood, and unrelenting power. Burn pushes me to the limit when I perform it live behind the decks at raves, which is where I wrote it to be played. I was DJing warehouse parties across Los Angeles a lot which heavily inspired its creation. The tempo change and buildup in the song is a play on the increasing heart rate I experience when performing live." Sonically, "Burn" includes a collision of hard synths and metallic beats, bringing the listener into a riveting and non-stop party filled with driving energy. The single is raw, intense, aggressive and euphoric.
Street Fever is an enigmatic and mesmerizing artist that pushes the boundaries of sonic exploration incorporating elements of hardcore, rap, industrial techno, EBM, noise, electro, pop and even classical music into their releases. They have performed in cities around the globe and are known for their experimental, dynamic and infamously destructive live shows. Take a listen to "Burn" now and get lost in the sound!
