Roses In December turn rage into revolution on new track “Inferno”

Roses In December are back and this time, they’re making a statement. Their new single, “Inferno,” is a daring, politically charged anthem that twists frustration into fire, shaping the band’s rage about government indifference and social inequity into something potent and poetic.

Newcastle’s own Roses In December have seen first-hand the rise of divide in working-class communities, those who have been forgotten about by systems that should have supported them. “Inferno” channels that reality, stitching it into a sonic blaze that’s by turns cathartic and confrontational. Everything has meaning, sparking listeners to see, feel and do.

The track starts as a slow burn but soon ignites into a fullblown emotional firestorm. It’s a movement set to music, a soundtrack for those who won’t stay quiet in the face of injustice. Roses In December prove to be the masters of their trade, combining aggressive guitars, riveting vocals and enervating lyrics in an anger with artistry type of mix.

At bottom, “Inferno” is about reclaiming that wrath and forging it into something creative, communal and hopeful. The band’s stridently socialist stance is empathy and resistance. Roses In December remind us that when systems let us down, music can still unite us and even foment change.

“Inferno” is a searing demand for awareness, empathy, revolution delivered via beautifully raw performance. This track is your wake-up call for anyone who feels music should MEAN something.
