Pebbledash share tender yet anthemic offering "Cell"

Rising Cork act Pebbledash share tender yet anthemic single “Cell,” offering a glimpse at their upcoming EP To Cast the Sea in Concrete. Showcasing a smooth fusion of Irish traditional music, atmospheric alternative rock, grunge, and post-punk, the textured production layers jangling guitars with melancholic vocals to encapsulate an ethereal yet haunting vibe.

With enchanting vocals and screeching guitars, the searing track echoes with the band’s live energy as it sways between fragility and an expressive catharsis. Moving from a gentle wall of sound to uncompromising noise-rock tendencies with seamless ease, the track makes for moments of reflection and boldness all at once.

Speaking of the track, they explain, “This song is both an exploration of facing the parts of you that are usually hidden away from view, the parts of you that scare you whilst also being a comment on the futility of life itself and the fact that none of this matters and the frustration that this can bring.”

Having built a growing reputation as both a live band and on record, Pebbledash continue to set themselves up as a force to be reckoned with led by their genre-bending artistry.
