R&B artist Jernade has just dropped his heartfelt new single, "Worst Behaviour," alongside a striking visual that brings the track’s raw emotion to life. Out now via Create Music Group, the release is the latest entry in Jernade’s #practicehours series, where he reimagines songs that have personally inspired him.
Originally performed by Kwn and Kehlani, "Worst Behaviour" is a track that hit close to home for Jernade.
“I’ve been a fan of KWN for a while,” he shares. “When I first heard 'Worst Behaviour,' I was instantly drawn to it. The melodies really stuck with me–it’s honestly the kind of song I wish I wrote. We’re from the same town, so doing a cover and making a video felt like a personal way to show love and appreciation for a track that inspired me.”
The accompanying video captures that same intimacy, pairing soulful performance shots with storytelling that highlights the vulnerability behind the song. It’s a continuation of Jernade’s recent run of releases, including fan-favourite "Right Here," and follows a milestone performance at SXSW London, where he delivered a standout headline set.
With a career that weaves together music, fashion, and entrepreneurship, Jernade has been steadily carving his own lane in the R&B space.
"Worst Behaviour" is out now on all major streaming platforms, and the official music video is available to watch on YouTube.
