Elare André shares a new single, "What's Baby's Name?", a low-key but flashy track that turns the typical hip-hop boasty style on its head. The single, "What's Baby's Name?" mixes alternative hip-hop vibes, experimental pop energy, and a future-leaning sound that feels so fresh but also damn gripping. The single is the first track in the EP "What's Baby's Name?" Elare skilfully combines vulnerability and confidence, framing shallow assurance in hip-hop for scorn with an extra sprinkle of well-timed humour.

From "What's Baby's Name?" listeners can hear that the musical styles are maintained while maintaining their own distinct voice. Expect fans of fellow artists James Blake to appreciate the glossy production and soft, textured beats.

His arresting lyrics lend us Frank Ocean vibes and draw listeners into his world with clever phrasing. There is also an experimental streak that subverts genre expectations and reforms them into something fresh. The fusion of those pressures makes the song feel both cozy and exhilarating. Elare's flow is on point as well on the track. This is what makes this song so universal, and yet it remains happy-sounding.

"What's Baby's Name?" is proof of Elare's artistry as an adventuring artist. A beat he crafted for someone else has escalated into a statement of his stylistic self. The song's transition from backing track to full-on single is also a perfect mirror of its themes, moving from doubt to confidence, private thoughts to shared experiences, and basic ideas to something fun and polished. The single, "What's Baby's Name?" is an invitation to join in, chuckle in recognition, or share your own story.
