Framework expands Los Angeles footprint with new Atwater Village venue launch [NEWS]

Event production company Framework continues its ambitious expansion across Los Angeles with the debut of Reframe Studios Outdoors, a new venue in Atwater Village set to launch November 29th with a performance by Solomun. The opening represents the latest addition to Framework's growing portfolio of unconventional event spaces throughout the city.

Framework has established itself as a pioneer in transforming non-traditional locations into immersive music experiences. Over the past year, the company has launched multiple unique venues including The Dock at the Historic Sears Building and Red Studios, a film production house that hosted Duke Dumont and Rampa. Just last weekend, Framework debuted The Rio Grande Lot at the Historic Sears Building with Sammy Virji.

The Atwater Village location marks Framework's continued push into new neighborhoods, expanding beyond their established presence in Hollywood and downtown areas. While details about Reframe Studios Outdoors remain limited, Framework's track record suggests another creative repurposing of an existing space into a custom music venue.

"We're thrilled to welcome back Solomun to our brand new venue in LA," shares Framework co-founder Kobi Danan. The choice of Solomun for the venue's inaugural event continues a decade-long relationship between the Bosnian DJ and Framework, dating back to performances at their Sound Nightclub in 2014.

Framework's venue development strategy has focused on securing permits for high-capacity events in locations previously unused for large-scale music performances. Their 2023 "Under Construction" event with Fisher and Chris Lake brought 12,000 people to Hollywood Boulevard, marking the first high-capacity event permitted on the street since 2000.

The company's expansion comes amid a busy fall schedule that includes hosting the 20-year anniversary celebration of German imprint Innervisions this weekend at The Dock, featuring Âme and Dixon. Framework will also return to Hollywood Boulevard September 27th with Keinemusik's Adam Port and bring Brazilian artist Mochakk to the same street November 15th.

Since 2013, Framework has hosted over 200 artists across more than 35 venues internationally, while operating Hollywood's Sound Nightclub and consulting on Coachella's Yuma Tent. The launch of Reframe Studios Outdoors continues their strategy of creating unique music experiences in unexpected Los Angeles locations.
