Tom Vek has shared the latest single from his upcoming We Have Sound Remixed collection, featuring London-based indie-electronic outfit Is Tropical's rework of "I Ain't Saying My Goodbyes." The remix arrives with an accompanying music video, offering a visual component to the 20th anniversary reimagining of Vek's cult debut album.

Is Tropical, known for their genre-blurring sound throughout the 2010s, infuses the track with propulsive rhythms, raw textures, and a dancefloor-ready edge that casts the original in a new light. The group's approach transforms Vek's indie classic into something more immediate and visceral while maintaining the song's core emotional resonance.

The accompanying music video captures the energy of Is Tropical's remix, translating their sonic interpretation into visual form. This adds another dimension to the track's reimagining, creating a complete audio-visual experience that honors both the original's legacy and the remix's contemporary edge.

"This song was on my soundtrack of leaving my hometown and moving up to London," shares Is Tropical. "Great memories of Shoreditch when it was full of squats and club line-ups were so eclectic." The group's nostalgic reflection speaks to the track's enduring connection to London's underground music scene.

Emerging from South London squats in 2009, Is Tropical carved out a cult following with their jagged and euphoric sound. The group toured internationally, sharing stages with LCD Soundsystem, Sonic Youth, and Klaxons while developing their distinctive approach to electronic-influenced indie music.

We Have Sound Remixed represents a rare kind of tribute, curated by Vek himself, with each artist handpicked to reinterpret the record that helped shape their creative DNA. The collection features contributions from alt-J's Gus Unger-Hamilton, Everything Everything, Porij, Anna Prior, Dutch Uncles, Baths, Vivid Fever Dreams, and Coby Sey.

The full We Have Sound Remixed album arrives October 2nd via StrataSonic Records, cementing Tom Vek's role as a cult figure whose music remains influential two decades after its original release.

"I Ain't Saying My Goodbyes (Is Tropical Remix)" and its music video are available now.
