Rising K-pop girl quintet KiiiKiii continue their rise to stardom with their free-spirited, confident and hopeful artistry. Consisting of Leesol, Sui, Jiyu, Haum, and Kya, the group who captured global attention earlier this year with their Tumblr-inspired social media launch that teased #WhoIsKiiiKiii has now released new music that further pushes the boundaries of their creativity.

Returning with pop-tinged dance track "DANCING ALONE," the band offered up a celebration of emotional freedom and connection, before showcasing their sonic diversity with four new remixes of the same track. Prompted by the nostalgia at the core, the remixes infuse freshness to each note as Jiyu explains, "We thought, why not give it a fresh twist while keeping that core feeling? That led us to explore different sounds and eras, so everyone can pick and enjoy their favorite version."

Kya adds, "A lot of people told us ‘DANCING ALONE’ made them think about moments that’ll never come back — like their school days. These remixes really bring out the sound of those times, so it feels like a more vivid throwback." A collaboration with PARKMOONCHI, there something for everyone in each version. Leesol explains, "With the ‘90s, ‘00s, ‘10s, and ‘20s versions, we wanted to cover different generations so people can tap into their own memories and a bit of nostalgia."

Having made their debut in March 2025, the ascent of KiiiKiii has been quick and steady. Looking back at their evolution, Haum says, "With our debut album [UNCUT GEM], we really focused on showing KiiiKiii’s unique color. With this release, we wanted to tell stories about our friendship and relationships. So I feel like we’re building a clearer storyline now, " with Sui adding, "[UNCUT GEM] had six tracks, all in completely different genres. They were raw and full of energy — like the keyword “uncut gem” its

elf. But with the singles ‘DANCING ALONE’ and ‘Strawberry Cheesegame’, we shifted toward something softer, capturing friendships that feel even more precious than love."

While being honed in on a free-spirited vibe with their music right now, the band is also focused on changing things up. Jiyu explains, " I never want us to feel stuck in one lane, so I’m down to try as many different concepts

and genres as we can. Honestly, I kinda  want to try everything. But if I had to choose, I think it’d be really fun for us to go all out on something super bright and bubbly at least once. And totally opposite to that, I’d also love to do a totally powerful, charismatic concept that just explodes with energy."

Regardless of the sonic direction they take, the band's biggest wish is being able to bring comfort to people with their heartfelt artistry. Simply being KiiiKiii  is enough to make the five-piece proud of themselves. So, it makes that when speaking of the most surreal moments of their career so far, both Haum and Leesol mention their debut itself.

Leesol says, "Debuting itself already felt like a dream. But after that, winning Rookie of the Year and getting so much love was on another level. It’s not just about winning the award, but it felt that our message was connecting. That’s what made it even more meaningful." "I don’t think I’ll ever forget the moment we debuted as KiiiKiii," adds Haum. It's also no surprise their bucket list is simply to keep doing what they've doing so far – expanding their reach to more people and offering them a safe space in their dreamy sonic world.

A band that describes themselves as being "nostalgic, comforting and open," KiiiKiii are an emerging force to be reckoned with in K-pop, as they give people strength, hope and a chance to experience freedom – one catchy production at a time.
